Privacy Policy — Powder River Build & Design

Effective date: August 28, 2026

Powder River Build & Design is a brand of Powder River Development Group LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit powderriverbuildanddesign.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information the form asks for — your name, phone number, email address, the type of project you’re inquiring about (kitchen, bathroom, basement finishing, flooring, remodels/additions, or design-build), any project details you type into the message field, and your consent choice. The form does not currently ask for your mailing address or accept photo uploads.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting and network providers automatically process standard technical information — such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages requested — as an ordinary part of serving the Site and keeping it secure. This Site does not run Google Analytics, CallRail’s website tracking script, or any other analytics or advertising-tracking tool. If that changes, we will update this Policy before it does.

Spam protection on our form. Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a widget that evaluates signals about your device and connection (for example, your IP address and browser characteristics) to confirm you are a real visitor rather than automated spam. Turnstile runs invisibly in the background in most cases and returns a pass/fail result to our form; we do not see or store the underlying technical signals it evaluates. Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare, and its handling of that data is described in Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.

Phone calls. The phone number published on this Site is managed through CallRail, a call-tracking service, and calls to it are routed through our company’s existing reception flow. Calls to the number on our Site may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping, consistent with how our company handles calls to its other lines. If you do not wish to be recorded, please contact us in writing (through the form or by email) instead. This Site does not use CallRail’s website-visitor tracking script — this disclosure covers the phone line only.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information, and we ask that you not submit them through our form.

How we use your information

We use the information to:

  • respond to your inquiry and provide information, estimates, and, if you engage us, perform and administer design-build or remodeling work;
  • contact you about your request by phone and email, consistent with the consent you provide on the form;
  • screen form submissions for spam using Cloudflare Turnstile;
  • operate, secure, and improve the Site;
  • keep records, including records of your consent; and
  • comply with law and enforce our Terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:

  • with service providers who work on our behalf and are bound to protect it — our website hosting provider (SiteGround); our DNS provider (Cloudflare — for this Site, Cloudflare manages domain name resolution only and is not configured to route or inspect Site traffic, unlike some of our other sites); our contact-form software (Gravity Forms, which runs on our own website and stores your submitted entries in our website database), together with its spam-screening add-on (Cloudflare Turnstile); our outbound email delivery provider (Brevo, connected through the FluentSMTP plugin, used to send form notifications and replies from james@powderriverdg.com); and our call-tracking provider (CallRail, for the phone number published on this Site, as described above);
  • for legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of you, us, or others; and
  • in a business transfer — if the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Cookies and tracking

This Site does not run Google Analytics, CallRail’s website-visitor tracking script, or any other analytics or advertising-tracking tool, so it does not set cookies for those purposes. Our contact form’s spam-protection widget, Cloudflare Turnstile, may process a small amount of connection data as described above. Our website software (WordPress) and form plugin (Gravity Forms) may set a limited number of functional cookies needed to operate the Site and the form — for example, to manage a session or move between form steps. We have not independently catalogued every cookie our current theme and plugins may set; we are disclosing what we know rather than guessing, and we will update this section if a fuller inventory changes it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Site or the form works.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide services, and meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We retain records of your consent (the wording shown, the date, and related information) for as long as reasonably necessary to document that consent.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and California residents under the CCPA/CPRA, including as to the categories of information described above. To exercise any right, contact us at james@powderriverdg.com; we will verify your request as required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” shows the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
